Ran five miles this morning: From home, to the track, around to the Greenway, out & back, then the rest of the track and back home again.
It was raining when I got up at 5:30 a.m. but by 7 it had stopped so, at 7:15, I took off running. Not one drop of rain hit me on my run. I returned home, and as I was sitting on the back steps unlacing my shoes, I heard pat-a-pat-pat-a-pat-pat as the the rain began anew.
God sent Mother Nature on my run with me this morning, huh?
Anyway...that caps off my week at 12 miles. Which isn't where I want to be but at least it's getting closer.
I'll be back on top of 20-mile weeks in no time!
